
Managing Director, Canada
Dr. Joby McKenzie is the Managing Director of Teladoc Health Canada. As the global leader in virtual care, Teladoc brings health services to millions of Canadians and partners with insurers, employers, and health systems, delivering primary care, acute care, specialty care and emergency care leveraging technology built for remote care. Dr. McKenzie is also a Board Director at Mackenzie Health, a hospital network in the Greater Toronto Area.
Prior to joining Teladoc, Dr. McKenzie was the Managing Director of Babylon Health Canada (virtual healthcare), held executive roles at LifeLabs (medical laboratory), and was a consultant at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG). She formerly played for Canada Basketball, qualifying for the 2000 Olympics and winning a silver medal at the 1999 Pan American Games as well as played professionally in Europe.
Dr. McKenzie holds an MBA from the Ivey School of Business, a PhD in Molecular and Medical Genetics from the University of Toronto, and a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from Simon Fraser University.
Originally from British Columbia, Dr. McKenzie now resides in Toronto with her husband, three children, and dog.
